Modict Me is one multi-language dictionary software designed for Java-embedded mobile devices, with unique and special rendering technique, MoDict can be run on any mobile operation system in different languages, even the system does not support the language in the dictionary.

• History

2006 Aug. Modict Me with German-Chinese dictionary was born, soonly I can not stand its low searching speed and it can not be run on non-Chinese supported mobile operation system.

2006 Dec. Improve the searching algorithm, now I am satisfied with its speed, but how to display one language on one different operation system was still troubling me.

2007 Spet. Finally I found one way to render different font on mobile system, and improve the GUI design so that the user has interest to use it at least.

2007 Nov. First public test for beta version began in one Chinese student forum in Stuttgart, Germany. Thanks those friends for testing and tons of bugs' reporting!

2008 June. Improve the search algorithm and the font rendering algorithm. Rebuilt the whole structure of this application, modified many stupid codes and fixed tons of bugs. Of course, many bugs were born meanwhile. Thanks for my girl friend and her Nokia 6300 for testing and bug reporting.

2008 July. Modict Me landed on Mobabel.net and waiting for being downloaded.
